SOCIAL SERVICES PROGRAMS
The Social Justice programme is mandated to provide social protection for the most vulnerable persons in the Archdiocese of Gulu. Within this strategic framework it seeks to invest in services and activities that empowers communities to address their social and psychological needs by supporting progressives’ community networks and facilitation of community peace and reconciliation initiatives as well as working with those programs that will elevate the youth to recognizable entities and viable constituencies that is self-reliant and supportive of general community undertakings.
It targets the most vulnerable persons in the society (women, children and older persons) with the hope of creating an enabling environment where their rights are respected, hope restored and services accessed for a dignified living. To make this dream come true, we build capacities of the different stakeholders to demand and advocate for better services and their rights.
